We have assembled an exciting mix of music and song for your enjoyment and appreciation in support of our mission to bring the best local, national and international talent to our community,. Christmas at The Movies

Following the success of last year’s Christmas Concert, and by popular demand, the Milnrow Brass Band will again be performing music from the world of TV, stage and screen at Christmas.

As in previous years, we have a range of special guests too. These include winners from the Bowdon Youth Festival, Bowdon Prep School Choir and an appearance by Bowdon Festival’s Artistic Director, Soprano Jayne Wilson, who trained at the Royal Northern College of Music.

The Bowdon Festival Opera Presents

A concert performance of Puccini’s Tosca in three acts.

St Mary’s, Saturday, 19th July, 7.30pm

What better way to appreciate Puccini’s Tosca than on a summer’s evening, with a picnic and champagne al fresco. Drinks, including sparkling wines, will be available from 34 wines throughout the evening.

Why not bring canapes to enjoy before or
during the intervals in the historic grounds
of St Mary’s? Or a picnic to enjoy before the
concert in the Parish Centre or outside.
